MINCARE DE DOVLECEI-ZUCCHINI SQUASH SIDE DISH




… intr-o dupa masa frumoasa de septembrie…

                             … bunica numea aceasta mincare “ţuşpais dă ludaie”…







1kg dovlecel ras(razatoarea cu gaurile mari!)
1ceapa
2linguri ulei
1lingura faina
2linguri smintina
2linguri marar(sau dupa gust!)
1/2lingura Vegeta
Sare piper dupa gust





Se prajeste ceapa in ulei pina devine moale.Se adauga Vegeta si dovlecelul,usor stors de zeama; se adauga100-150ml apa(apa sa ajunga pina la nivelul dovlecelului!)Eu am pus si un morcov ras pentru culoare.



Se fierbe cam 20-25 minute(sau cit de “moale”il doriti!)Intr-un bol se amesteca bine 1lingura de smintina cu 1lingura de faina(sa nu aiba cocoloase!) si se toarna peste dovlecel.Se amesteca si se adauga restul de smintina(1lingura) si mararul taiat marunt.Se lasa pe foc inca 10-15 minute, sau pina faina s-a fiert.Daca sosul este prea consistent se poate adauga lapte,iar daca este prea subtire se poate adauga faina!



Se adauga sare piper dupa gust.
Se serveste cald cu piine proaspata(de casa!) sau garnitura la carnita, cirnati.

…my grandmother used to call this dish “ţuşpais dă ludaie”…


1kg zucchini squash coarsely grated (largest holes on a box grater!)
1onion finely chopped
2tbsp oil
1tbsp flour
2tbsp sour cream
2tbsp finely chopped dill
1/2tbsp Vegeta
Salt and pepper to taste


Heat the oil in a saucepan and cook the onion until is soft. Add Vegeta and zucchini drained by liquid that formed in the bowl; add 100-150ml water (enough to cover zucchini!)I added 1grated carrot for colour! Cook for 20-25 minute until zucchini is crispy soft. In a small separate bowl, mix well 1tbsp sour cream with 1 tbsp flour (to obtain a smooth paste!) and add mixture to zucchini. Add the dill and rest of sour cream, and cook10-15 minute or until the flour has cooked. If you find the sauce too consistent or too liquid add either milk or flour.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve right away with fresh bread (home made!) or side dish to meat, sausages.
